Dedcation to a brother

Dedication: Round One

Author’s note: Hello to all of my readers. This may not be the usual stuff, but I promise that there’s a new poem on the way. Anyways, I decided that for my brother’s birthday I would get him something really nice. So here I am, typing up this poem for him. June 11, and he’s only got 365 days left to pick up his act and get his learners before he’s a legal adult. Snickers Well, without further adieu:

This poem is dedicated to my older brother, whether he likes it or not.

So the real title should be:

Dedication to a Brother.

(Enjoy!)

This year’s another round about the block

31,536,000 more ticks around the clock

This year may bring change

This year you may be strange

But remember that no matter how much older you get

There’s no reason to frown and fret

Because right now is when it’s your turn to shine

Right now it’s your turn to say that you’ll be fine

Right now it’s all dandy sunshine and roses

You give a funny look, and you strike a few poses

But right now isn’t what you’ll let die away

Right now, today makes the memories that will stay

Now you can say your sister dedicated a poem to you

I think it’s a pretty cool thing to do

But that just me and now, never mind

Sit back, relax, and take a chance to unwind

Just ‘cuz it’s your birthday.
