The gruesome face of an imminent death leering at her, looming over her.

The terrified shriek that rips its way from her throat.

The sound of a blade ripping through flesh, and the warm, putrid feeling of blood splattering against her cold skin.

His fervent blue eyes, his powerful voice. “You have to hit them in the head, if you want them dead.” A confident grin.

He tosses the corpse aside as it vaporizes and its ashes float away on the wind, then holds his hand out to her.

And she wakes up before this recurring dream even reaches its end.

Ketto: Pitifully short intro, yes, but chapters will for sure get longer! Anyways, this idea has been in my head and I decided I needed to get it out and in the open. And what's up with the characters? I wanted to put a squiggle line character between the title words, then tried an asterisk, but neither will stay there after I save it! So I guess it's going to be a plus sign from now on...
