Fires burning within

Explodes upon the Earth
To show all its superiority, its talents
A performance that bedazzles everyone and everything
To say the least

To lift the satin curtains

A show that will make you
No less than certain

That your mind has witnessed
Only the most spectacular thing

Graced upon any theater

Neons, shades, and hues
Erupt from center stage
And the sounds are subtle,
Yet distinct
It seems to be a new era,
Revolution, a new age

The show may go on for hours,
But it seems like seconds
Because of all the amazement
And opera choruses
It is an uprising phenomena
And it beckons to all

Swinging from braids of ropes,
And waves of silk
The performance transforms in an instant
From Earth, to the sky
Above the clouds
With the winged, flying ilk

Perfection is obvious
And sincerity to their work
I have not witnessed,
Or anyone has ever seen
But their dedication and vibrant appearance
Is what truly makes them "Cirque"

A show of proportions
So deeply epic
That not the most action-filled
Thriller film or blood-stained battle
