N/A: God, it has been forever since I updated this. I’m really, really sorry. I guess I just lost interest because the story doesn’t have a real plot nor real characters. However, trying not to disappoint anyone, I’m writing the last chapter. I hope it doesn’t sound too different from the rest of it, and I’m sorry there is no lemon either. I just don’t fell like writing it. If you want a good slash story you can always read Shrinking Universe, which I’m still writing but intend to finish - it has a plot and it has characters. Yay.
Horse Show
“You did what?” Katheryn asked as I jumped on the couch next to her.
“I didn’t do anything, that’s the problem” I answered, reaching for the latest Vogue issue that had been sitting on the coffee table for two days.
Katheryn put one of her fingers on the top of the magazine pushing it down, so that she could see my eyes, “Yeah, right. I know you, Blaze. You took your time… Tell me!”
“Oh, shut up. We didn’t do anything. Cameron tried to, but I decided it was too fast…”
She got up and touched my forehead with the back of her hand, checking my temperature. “Are you sick or something?” I pushed her hand aside.
“No, Katheryn, I’m fine.” I got up and walked to my bedroom. “I have some dignity, you know… Besides, this means I’ll get to see him again…”
“Good thinking.” I heard her mutter as I slammed the door close.
She was right, why had I stopped him? Oh, well, there was no way to go back now, all I could do was wait and see when he would call me, go out with him on a date… And then maybe I could do it.
When had I become such a girl about this?
---------
Cameron was picking me up in ten minutes, and Katheryn and I were still looking for the perfect outfit. She pulled the end of a white shirt to show it to me, as I stood in front of my closet, with only my briefs on, my hair still wet, my arms fallen next to my body. I twisted my mouth. “I like that one, but what can I match it with?”
“Oh, hm, let’s see... One of the gazilaon of black pants you own?”
“Shut up” I told her, looking through the closet. “Do the skinny ones look good on me?”
“Which ones?” She seemed upset.
“I.. Hm.” I pulled my favorite pair out of the closet and showed it to her. Katheryn tilted her head and tapped her chin twice.
“Yes, those will do.”
I smiled and put my clothes on fast.
“Where are you going, anyway?” Katheryn asked as I buttoned my shirt.
“Some horse show...”
She stared at me.
“What?”
“You...? You’re going to a horse show?” She burst out laughing, flipping her hair back.
“Yes, I am. And you’re helping me with the hair.”
My hand grabbed her wrist and pulled her into the bathroom.
“I want something...”
“You want whatever I manage to do” Katheryn sticked her tongue out to me as her hands started going through my hair.
“Have you been using that shampoo I gave you?” She asked me after a while - the gel bottle was almost empty.
“Huhum”
“I figured, it feels nicer.”
“It always felt nice!” The doorbell rang.
“Whatever” She backed up, checked her work and whipped her hands on a towel. “You’re done.”
Before the doorbell could ring again Katheryn had gotten the door opened, leading Cameron inside.
“Hi. Hm. You were there, right?” he asked Katheryn, my stomach filling up with butterflies at the sound of his voice.
“Yea, I’m Katheryn.”
“Nice to meet you”
“Hm, Blaze is almost done. Do you want anything to drink while you wait for him?” I wasn’t going to take that long! I was just checking to see I looked fabulous (well, I always did).
I walked in the living room quietly. Katheryn was leaning against the couch’s armrest, almost sitting on it, and Cameron was standing, in front of her, hands on his pockets, looking at some point over her head.
I cleared my throat.
“Oh, hi” Cameron greeted me with a huge smile. I leaned closer and stole a kiss from him. “You look nice.”
“Thank you” I could feel my skin warming up. Girly. “See you later, Katie!”
I wanted to leave as fast as I could. Katheryn was my best friend and she never had had any kind of problem with me being gay - actually she was always way too eager about that for comfort. Sigh.
I had no clue where we were going, as we went through the busy London streets. I just sat there, keeping my eyes on Cameron as he kept his on the road. His hair was so beautiful when the street lights hit it - I didn’t even know anyone could look good under those! And his eyes! His eyes were so gorgeous! They shinned in a million different tones of blue, the car lights shinning on them. The way his lips parted... Oh god, I had to stop.
I felt his hand against my leg, looking for mine, and I held it, letting my fingers lock themselves with his.
“We’re here” he told me, pulling his hand away to park the car.
Cameron took his seatbelt off and looked at me.
“We can go inside now... Or we can just stay here.”
He leaned closer, slowly, almost painfully. His lips brushed mine and he smiled.
“Do you want to stay here, Blazzze?”
Oh god, his voice. I do want to stay here. I do, I do, I do. I closed the distance between our lips and kissed him fiercely. He tasted better than I remembered - maybe it was because he didn’t smell like horses and sweat now. Thinking of which, that’s what it would smell inside, right? I really didn’t want to go in there...
A car’s lights from the street shone bright inside Cameron’s car, scarring me. I bit his lip unintentionally.
“Ouch” Cameron muttered, pulling a bit away. “If you wanted to go inside so much you could have just said, you didn’t have to bite!”
He was mocking me, but still opened his door and got out and around the car to open my door before I could protest. Now I really had to o inside. And by the end of the night I would smell like horses and sweat. Oh, gross.
Cameron didn’t let go of my hand for the rest of the night, even when people looked at us disapprovingly or grossed out or whatever those expressions on people’s face when they see men holding hands mean. Seriously, it was about time they got over it.
Cameron kept asking me questions, as I tried to decide which was the prettiest horse. I answered them, most of the time asking more questions than answering.
“You having fun?” Cameron asked, stopping by ridiculously huge horse. It was honey colored and had huge eyes - it was almost scary.
“Hm.”
“You’re not, are you?”
I couldn’t bring myself to tell him the truth. I mean, I didn’t want him to think we had nothing in common! We did, we both liked animals - well, at least I liked small puppies and cute kittens. That had to count for something.
“Want to go get some coffee or something?” Cameron asked, looking into my eyes. “Maybe go to somewhere more quiet, Blazzze...?”
He was dangerously close.
“Y-yes” I answered, trying not to shiver at the way he pronounced my name.
The cold night breeze froze the tip of my nose, so I couldn’t check if I smelled like horses and sweat. It was dark and there was no one outside. Maybe it was a good thing I couldn’t smell, or it would have been gross to think of letting Cameron run is hands down my body and kiss my neck. I hopped I didn’t taste like sweat. I hated sweat. It was sticky and smelly and just overall disgusting. Maybe if we stood out there for a while it would go away.
“Can we skip coffee?” Cameron asked, his mouth still on my neck. “Please? Pretty please..?”
“Hmm”
He licked from the base of my neck all the way up to my ear and across my jawline until he found my lips.
“Can we?”
Oh I had to stop being a girl.
“Let’s go.”

N/A: Ahaha, this chapter is stupid, it’s short, it doesn’t seem like the story is over but, guess what, it is! x) Seriously, I just wrote this chapter to finish the story somehow. Blaze was fun for a while, but now I’ve just completely forgotten about him... I’m really sorry if I let anyone down.
