Fire

By: A. Lone Fox

Burning flames of crimson heat

Cast down from stary seat

Set to blaze the world below

Incenerated beneath starry glow

The heat intense upon the ground

Burning away the night owls sound

Water burns and boils away

As tears once shed leave this day

Cast to fire the world was

When the gods saw just cause

Lost to the crimson glow

Was the world of mans show

The earth dried; baked and shattered

As the ground became grossly crattered

The winds gentle kiss became a malestorm

And increased the heat by a Infinitum

The plants did wither and died

As the heat built and oceans fried

The stars wouldn’t stop, they would not cease

Til all had fallen and brought world peace

Sought after the stars were

By mans clutching fingers

Brought down the stars they did

And dropped the burning spheres where they hid

The deserts turned to beaded glass

As the sun rose for one last glance

The ice caps melted and turned to steam

As hope faded into a distant dream

Into the abyss, the endless sky

The flaming earth now does ride

Searching for a place to douse the flames

Flames started by mans power games
