WITHIN-"prologue."
STORY SUMMARY: Aki always knew she was different. Her eyes were blue.. but everyone else in her family had brown eyes. That was only the more obvious of the small events that occurred over the year, like when sometimes when she reached for something - and it would close the gap between them. She was convinced she was crazy and chose to ignore it and told herself she was nothing special, and managed to deal with this little occurrences. Just when she thought she had it under control, the lines between reality and the unknown begin to bend as she realizes she is the possible catalyst of a secret war that has been raging for centuries.

Some believe that everyone's actions are already laid out in front of them, they just can not see it even though it is a set plan that has been chosen by Fate. Others think they are in charge of their future and their lives have not been weaved by some fantastic, unseen force. And, of course, some either do not think about it or do not care.

However, all can agree that the future can seem intimidating in its mystery, in the way one can never predict the future. Some may claim to be psychic, speaking of prophecies that use such vague wording that it is almost impossible to tell if they actually had such supernatural powers. There are skeptics who believe these are just cheap stunts pulled by attention seekers, and that you can bend any phrase to fit any situation. Then there are those who wonder if there is the possibility, if perhaps our future has been seen by a higher power.

Regardless of one's opinion of the matter, however mixed within the population, it can sometimes feel eerie just to think of the possibility.. of the chance that some are meant for something impossibly great..

They just don't know it yet.
