salut et quoi de neuf (hi and what's new)! here is a story that i've been dreaming about for a while. it contains a lot of musical references - which is interesting, because the first thing i ever posted on FanFiction had to do with music. read, review, and enjoy, s'il vous plaît!

Full Summary: Ueno Shiori has finally entered Ongaku Fuoco Academy, a specialized international school for musical students. But she quickly learns that her school life will be nothing like what she had hoped for - her sister, Yuka, refuses to acknowledge her, she has managed to tick off the top student, and her days drift into a solitary haze. In order to revive the dream her late parents had for her, Shiori decides to enter one of the seasonal contests...and ends up with unexpected results.

Characters:

Ueno, Shiori- 16 (Cancer, blood type A). First year piano student at Ongaku Fuoco Academy who has been living with her aunt and uncle since the death of her parents. She devotes many hours of her day to studying music theory and composition.

Ueno, Yuka- 17 (Scorpio, blood type O). Second year flute student at Ongaku Fuoco Academy, living with her aunt and uncle as well. Naturally accepted by her classmates and an exceptional performer, she displays the qualities Shiori lacks.

Matsuoka, Hibiki- 17 (Pisces, blood type AB). Second year piano student at Ongaku Fuoco Academy, related to many notable alumni from the school. Talented but lazy, he often shies away from his crowds of admirers and refuses to do accompaniments or other performances with student interraction.

Alduino, Gaspare- 17 (Taurus, blood type B). Second year vocal student at Ongaku Fuoco Academy, transferring from Italy. He has been a close friend of Hibiki's since childhood, due to their well-known families in the music world. He is a total opposite of Hibiki - kind, friendly, and a bit romantic.

Wakahisa, Iku - 38 (Libra, blood type O). Instructor of Improvisation and Music Theory at Ongaku Fuoco Academy. Specialized in violin.

Kagome, Erisa/Elisa - 29 (Gemini, blood type A). Second rank vocal coach, instructing classes at Ongaku Fuoco Academy. Attended musical education in America.

Iida, Hana - 33 at death (Virgo, blood type A) Deceased mother of Yuka and Shiori. More summary to come...

Ueno, Takumi - 33 at death (Capricorn, blood type O) Deceased father of Yuka and Shiori. More summary to come...
