Just a bunch of “old” poems (from... maybe two years ago) that I think deserve to be posted, but not necessarily individually. Most of there are simpler than the poems I write now. Little to no bolding and italicizing. I’ve tweaked some of them which is why some poems might look like they don’t fit in with the others. Posted in random order.
“don’t cry, baby boy”
someone said in a gentle whisper
a fond hello and caress
tears ceased
but the whimpers could still be heard
a hand stroked the velvety soft hair on the baby’s head
“there, there, sweetie pie”
simple lies
long red polished nails glinted in the candlelight
“mommy” the little boy said
a cold mirthless laugh
“no, no... mommy is gone.”
a dangerous edge
“mommy” the little boy said
a cruel tired smile
“no, no. your mommy is dead…
see down there, in the fires(inthescreamstheshoutstheblood)?
(in hell, dear)
that’s where your mommy is.
i killed her.”
“mommy” the little boy said
ever so persistent
a defeated sigh
“i am not your mommy…
i am Death.
i took your mommy away, honey.
mommy is never coming back…”
Death vanished
and Baby began to cry once more
Oh crap, this turned out kind of weird and strange. Freaked me out. Haha…
