Reality Is

Reality is
waking up,
having obligations,
sometimes loud,
sometimes never heard,
late nights working,
late nights having fun,
the fights you have,
forgiving not so soon,
the regret you feel later,
apologizing,
moving on,
growing up,
what happens after the fairy tale,
open ended,
the things you can't take back,
the things you feel sitting in the dark,
the sinking feeling in your stomach,
what's on your mind,
what you don't say,
what you won't admit,
simple,
blunt,
hurtful,
profound,
and a realization.

Reality is something I don't want to face.
Reality is something that takes time.
