Pages

So strange a longing

To meet those in the pages

Their stories writ in their blood-filled ink

Peeling off the pages, they beckon me, "come!"

"hear the tales of our lives, so unlike your own."

All sense of here is gone, all interest in my own life forgotten,

Within the pages, they call to me softly...and into the pages do I vanish
