Here is a poem I very recently wrote in freeverse about my experience with coming out. R&R Pleassseee :):)

COMING OUT

I knew it.
I knew all along I was different.
Different feelings.
Different thoughts.
Always different.

But then I said it.
I said it out loud to everyone.
I didn't mean to.
Really.
But I did.

That was when it started.
That was when all the trouble started.
Names flew.
Pencils thrown.
Graffiti written.

All the proud.
All the proud gone.
Depression.
Sadness.
Upset.

But there was hope.
There was hope in the dark.
Friends who didn't care what I was.
Friends who loved me for me.
They cared.

So there is hope.
There is hope for me.
I may feel and think differently.
But it doesn't matter.
I am me.
