“Now, do you know what to do?”

“What? I have to go home, Heir. If I’m no princess, I have no buisiness here.” We stood outside a large tent, hidden in a back corner. The Elven servant was gone, after Heir Zeckih had silenced him. I didn’t want to know what had happened. He had taken off my bandana, and I found myself pressed up against him, uncomfortably close, staring into his deep, darkened eyes. Intelligence glittered dangerously. An idea.

“Mallie... that was your name, right?” Sorrow from his aura seeped towards me. Dread ate at my mind. I almost used my gift, having to reign it in, to keep him from telling me what made him so sad. I just nodded, not quite Understanding what he was about to say.

“Mallie, your entire Faerie clan was killed, besides the captives that we have, but they are only young children. Even the Elders are dead.”

“I... Then I have to alert the Princess, I can’t wait, I have to leave right away.”

“Mallie, if you weren’t the princess you would either be killed, or become my mother and fathers new toy, considering you are human. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.”

“What are you saying, Heir Zeckih of Royal Fairy?”

“I am saying either you pretend to be the princess or I shall tear out your throat with my own hands and your powers won’t do anything.”

“You... You sensed my power?” I gasped. That was nearly impossible, no Faerie or Fairy had ever been gifted with something of that magnitude... My Understanding couldn’t grasp it, comprehend it, even. The Divine wouldn’t allow it.

“No. I guessed. And I guessed right.” I blinked, before internally cursing myself I should have known better, gaurded myself better. But it was to late now.

“Nice guess. So let me get this straight, It’s either be your princess until I escape, possibly for forever, or die. Tough choice. Love or Life?” He took a deep breath, pressing me against him, and leaned his head down. His face hovered over mine, his breath hitting his lips. I didn’t Understand what he was going to do, but fear made my blood run cold, an ice before a fiery boil that spread, burning through my veigns. My vision blurred slightly, my heart thumping hard in my chest, I shivered and sweat at the bodily and emotional exertion.

He leaned his mouth by my ear, his breath tickling my neck, making me shiver, sweat trickling down my spine as my breath hitched. I took shallow, fast gasps for air.

“Be mine?” He whispered, voice husky. I stopped breathing alltogether, shaking so hard, if he hadn’t placed his hands on my hips I would have collapsed to my hands and knees. Whatever he was doing, was so tormenting and... pleasurable. It twisted my mind until I couldn’t understand what I was supposed to do... just.... please him as well.

“A-anything for you...” He breathed down the back of her neck, massaging circles against her hips. His voice was husky, low, and a subtle, an intriguing danger on the tip of his tongue.

“Swear on your soul and duty by the Divine’s name...? Would you go to those lengths?” He whispered. For a split second I wanted to stop, to tell him no, and at that thought he lowered his lips over mine and did something strange. Our lips touched gently, passion in the touch as his hands held me. I didn’t know what to do, or what he was doing. But it felt amazing...

He pulled back, his breath warm over my flushed cheeks.

“Wow... what was that?” I whispered, feeling all sense leave me entirely.

“I’ll explain later, just... swear it.”

“I swear on my soul... my duty... to the divine... I will be... yours...” He smiled, and pulled away, taking me by my hand out into the hall. He placed the blindfold over my eyes, and suddenly, my Understanding came. He was... taking me. He had taken my mind forcefully with his ability, and I had vowed in a way that I would owe eternal servitude to him in death and life, if I went back on my vow.

Divine, kill me now.
