Justin is 25 and just an ordinary, normal kind of man. Nothing really exciting has ever happened to him, and he's okay with that. He's very content with his life. He has a girlfriend off in Hollywood trying to become an actress who he's been with since high school, a great job as an 8th grade teacher, and good friends who he is quite close to. Justin is used to having this kind of life because it's always been like this, ever since he was born. He really doesn't know any different. That all changes though when she enters his life, unexpectedly and uninvited. From then on, Justin can never again call his life normal. She made sure of that.

This is the story of a man who's world has been shattered. His eyes are opened to things he's never had to deal with in his life, the kinds of things he's only seen in horror movies. Each day presents Justin with new questions of what the hell is going on. Answers are scarce, and when he does receive one, it only burns more questions into his brain. Who is she? What happened to her? How did she get here? How can I help her? And why, why, why did this have to happen to me?

Justin's personal life begins to crack, little by little. Justin's love life is diminishing day by day, no matter how much he doesn't want to admit it. He is being forced to lie to his only friends…forced to turn them away and seclude himself. And when he is warned that he is on the verge of losing his job that he has fought so hard for, Justin breaks. But there's no one there anymore to put the pieces back together. Alone.
