MidNight's Twisted Tales:Four Winds

Once upon a time, there were four seasonal winds, Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter. Spring & Summer got along jovially with everybody, but Autumn & Winter had a bitter feud going on.

The mean Autumn winds would always blow all the tree's leaves off, leaving them naked & embarrassed. Seeing how unhappy the trees were at this, the kindly Winter winds froze the water in the air to make pretty snowflakes, dressing up the trees in with pretty new white clothes until the bemused Spring came along, & the Trees grew back their usual pretty green clothes. While Summer would herald in a swam of beautiful butterflies and busy bees to accessorize the Trees with pretty flowers, & for some of them, FRUITS!

& so it continues year after year, Autumn & Winter undressing & dressing up the trees while Spring & Summer watch on in wry amusement...
