Ths poem does not celebrate, support or condone suicide. I personally feel its tragic that people feel the need to end their lives but at the end of the day it's their choice. It's another of my early morning ramblings so the rhyming may be a little odd and incredibly cliche in places but oh well. Enjoy.
Hello, My Name Is Suicide
Hello, my name is Suicide
Do you really want to die?
You say life is hell
Please end my pain
Life and death
It’s all the same
I shrug and watch
As you grab the knife
Slit down your wrists
To end your life
Pulse quickens
The blood flows free
Then you realise
This isn’t what you want to be
You beg and plead
And ask to live
But I gave you your chance
Nothing more I can give
The blood drips down
You scream no more
You cry for help
But you locked the door
Goodbye, my name is Suicide
You didn't really want to die.
