In a land merely five thousand years ago, called Urufu, a seraphim angel named Atarina descended down on the barren place and called forth a new beginning. In this new beginning, she made different places, different beings, and thus settled down when everything she created was beautiful in her eyes. She claimed this place as her own, and the ones who saw her, viewed her as its goddess.
With the accepting of her new title, she watched over her creations, with her partner, Alundon, the Yiijr devil. As she ruled as goddess and light, he ruled with as a being of a god of darkness and destruction. Atarina created Urufu anew; she blessed her lands Asakar, the woods of the noble heron clan with the powers of Píshoň, which are powerful songs separated into 3 tones and 6 classes, the Kyuriko, who have the intelligent wolves, and the Houuko dragons.
The first song of Class 3, as it is called, Remedy, heals the listeners of their soul, cleanses their body, and restores vitality. It is one of the strongest songs of healing, and wielding much Píseňaic strength is needed to master it. The second song, Replish, replinishes health from any illness the listener may have, making this the second powerful song of Píshoň. The third song, of Class 3 Píshoň songs, is Somber, which puts it's listeners into a deep slumber and restores their soul to its proper place. Class 2 songs are classified as vitalizing more than remedial. They contain the songs: Cherish, a song that restores breath, Vigor, a song that restore health in battles preferably, and Reign, the song of stopping time around the voice. Class 1 songs are simple notes placed together, merely and mostly hummed with chimes in the voical. They contain the songs notes: Memory, a humming voical that restores the memory of the listener, making it very difficult to master. Joy, a song that is used for religious purposes of praising Atarina, and Purity, a song that kills the undead with a single note. There is also a song which proves to be very difficult for one heron to perform alone and that is the song called Rebirth, which allows the listener to gain and be restored of everything. Only the royal family herons possess this ability, but is still difficult to wield.
The Asakarian herons live in a deep forest next to the Ode-kin mountains, which are snow covered mountatins that protect the angel figures from the four-legged beasts. The forests' entrance is difficult to enter itself, as a song of a heron is needed to fully approach and open it's doors. The graceful birds are known to have an extended life span, aging rather slowly and appearing younger than the usual human. The correct term to address a heron is “Embracen”, which in the old language named Ometa, “elegant, harmless and beauty”. The herons' wings, usually come in the color of their element they are born with. The noble herons possess silver wings... rarely white, which is a color of angels and prophecy to them and a symbol of protection. Any heron with white wings are taught every song in their youth and also powerful light magic such as Shinka, the light magic spell equivalent to Rebirth. Their songs, in and of their language, are known as galldrar.
Next to the Asakar forest, are the sky dwelling hawk and eagle clans of Mashina. Much like the herons, these birds are fierce and beyond the embodiments of other demons alike. They were created by Alundon, thus they are demons themselves. They protect their brethern Embracens with dignity and pride, and all wield the ability “Chalice” which increases their power if magically provoked. The eagles are the largest of them, and are often dealing with the Onobi tribe, which contain the ravens and crows; Mashinians and the Onobians are called “Shuzajr” as the correct way to address them, which means in the old tongue, “Bloodthirsty and piercings”. The ravens also age very slowly as well, making them accordingly dangerous. Rare breed colors are dark blue and dark gray, and only noble ravens possess black wings. The Eagle and hawk clan have various brown wing colors, and the noble ones usually have a light auburn color. These birds do not usually possess weapons; they just use their talons and beaks to kill, but there are few who will use both a weapon and their bodies as means of protecting themself. They mostly use knives, nunchucks, or stagpoles. The Mashinians have a difficult mountain blocking their homeland, preventing humans from ever crossing as well as four-legged animals. The mountains are jagged and very difficult to cross over. The Onobians have rough sea waters around their homeland, and they have been claimed “Shipless Pirates” as they have stolen several times from human cargo that sail even 300 meter length near Onobi.
Across those waters, there are the Wolves of Kyuriko. These beasts were blessed by both Atarina and Alundon, as they are the symbol being of descendants who fought in a great war against the gods in the past Urufu world, before it became barren. These wolves possess the skills of great stealth and they rival themselves with Acora, the land of the cats. Kyuriko is well guarded by the sacred forest of Hishao, which seems like an endless maze of trees and rocks. The help of a Kyurikoken wolf is very needed to surpass this sacred ground, as they have the best scent muzzles around the land of Urufu. The Kyurikokens are very isolated, and rarely communicate with the outside world around their home. In the past, they have allied themselves with Acora, but as times have changed, they seem to be having difficulties keeping their alliance. Because these wolves are both blessed and cursed, some wield the power of the herons; their howls can prove to be healing spells mastered in the magic arts, as well as they possess the light affinity. The ones that are cursed, possess sharper fangs and claws, their ears a tad narrower than their fellow blessed ones. The ones that are neither, are merely commoners, and do not possess anything natural except the amazing ability of sight, smell and hearing. The wolves also have an extended life span.
Kyurikokens have the fur colors of blonde, which are most commoners' color, black, being the ones who are cursed, white, the ones who are blessed, and brown, another commoner color. The noble wolves have auburn to grey colors, and blue being a rarity. They are all well equipped with knives for their pillaging and theivery, some having light blades called “Wyers”. Wolves who can maintain their human-like forms as well as their beast forms are highly appointed by their elders and protect their lands effectively. These dogs are very calculating, and can hear anything within a 15 mile radius, or farther. With their effective tacticianal mindsets, even aerial attacks are lethal to their cause, as the ones blessed with the far-hearing can listen to the aerialists and evacuate the villagers in point marks' time. They have no need to war or any other demon. These wolves are called Ookasha, “intelligence, protection and fragrance” in the lost Ometa tongue.
Living just miles away from Kyuriko, across a small lake, the cats of Acora. These cats are very skilled in the arts of the ninja; they prefer to call themselves Blade Shinobi, while the wolves of Kyuriko call themselves Knive Ninjas. The cat tribe come in different breeds of the cat family; domestic, tigers, siberians, panthers, lynx, lions, and saber-tooth. Just as the wolves, they were both blessed and cursed at the same time, having those who were blessed, with wings, both angelic looking or demonic; those who were cursed had the inability to fly and are born without wings, thus they must go through trials to surpass or lift their curse to able themselves. The trials vary with each cat that has fallen under Alundon. All of the Acorians are eqipped with blades, knives, nunchucks, and iron fans with fancy decorations. In Acora in the past, it was required that the males were to be taught the shinobi arts, while the females practiced staves. Since times have changed, both genders practice and master the shinobi ways, and have worked together successfully to thwart any bandits, much like mercenaries-for-hire. Acora supplies the dojos of Josei and Shonen; respectfully for females and males.
The cats of domestic, which are mostly commoners, come in brown, yellow, blue, black, white, and grey. The larger warriors, the tigers, come in the same colors except yellow; siberians are always white and are considered like of the nobility as well; panthers are black, auburn and dark grey; lynx are usually light auburn, tan and blonde; lions come in dark browns and auburns and rarely light tan; and lastly, the saber-tooths, which come in dark green, greys, blue, and tan. The appropriate term to address one of these Acorians is by the name of “Ascheri”, meaning, in the old tongue, “wild and tame fraughtlessly”.
On the mountains of Comos, are the dragon tribe known as Houuko. These beasts are the masters of the sky, outpowering nearly every demon, and overleading the eagles in the skies. They reside in the snowy regions, the mountains covered in frost. Their scales protect them from the devastating cold. They come in various colours, most all, their color they are born of, it is their alignment. The dragons separate themselves in “categories”; each color represents of special bais. Green dragons signify the alignment of wind and thunder; Red dragons signify the alignment of fire and heat, Blue dragons signify the alignment of water and cold; Black dragons signify the alignment of darkness, death, and confusion, White dragons signify the alignment of light, purity and salvation; Lastly, Brown dragons signify the alignment of earth and soil. The royal dragons are golden dragons, known as Quishdr. The Blue, green, and white dragons are magically infused, as they have more magic properties than the Red, brown, and black dragons. Half breeded dragons are usually supported with auburn hair and variant eye colors of their dragon mixbreed; blue eyes mean the Water Alignment, green eyes mean the Wind, red eyes of Fire, brown eyes of Earth, black eyes of Darkness, and white, empty-like eyes of Light. Upon history from Comos, there has never been a situation, of which there was an infant half dragon with golden eyes. In the old tongue, these dragons are called “Rajonka” meaning “To live everlasting and feel terror”.
The last nation of Seken, the dominance of the human race, the nation of Linnet. Humans, in the old tongue, are known as “Tajr” which means “Bound by dignity”. These mortals reside mostly in the central parts of the continent, next to Kyuriko's sacred forest. They are mostly inclined with the better technology; having cannons, that some create dreadful plagues, hexes from the old age war, and equipping themselves with guns, strengthing their forces with the lateral military. Humans rarely associate with the other demons, mostly out of fear or possibly the fact they are in seclusion from the world.
In each of these nations, lands, there is one that stands as a symbol of rule and order.
The elegant, heron clan of Asakar, ruled by King Liron, and his sister, Serenade, direct ascendants of the holy guard of angels from Atarina. With their lead, the herons have lived peacefully, no war or strife with any other nations, for many years. Their language, galldrar, is which of most they speak, their brethern hawks and ravens understand just very little of it.
The cocky raven clan of Onobi, ruled by “King” Leeroy, the eldest son of Chogan, the late king, who's heart is that of lust, pride, and uncaring. He commands a fierce army of talons, and allows human ships to be terrorized by his people. His younger brother, Anakin, however is a kind-hearted raven, almost too kind for one, who seeks for peace. He and Leeroy are childhood friends of Liron and Serenade.
The hawks and eagle demons are ruled by King Ethanial, who is a man of his words. His clan nothing less than messengers who deliver and receive word, or scout for anything important across Seken. They associate themselves more with the humans than any other demon nation.
The Acora nation, ruled by Queen Zurine, the Siberian demoness. She commands her clan to shuffle in between stealth and the arts of ninjutsu, to outclass the Kyurikoken wolves. Even with her brood, and curtly appearance, her heart remains kind-hearted, and she seeks to expand her nation.
The nation of the wolves, Kyuriko, ruled by Phelan, the village elder. This old gray wolf survived the old age war, and lives in seclusion with his people. They are trained in the skill of another foundation of ninjutsu, in which they call themselves “shinobi”. They mostly use small knives, but some use light blades and poison darts as their choice of weapons; any weapon can vary.
The dragon nation of Comos, ruled by the old dragon king, Pyrrhus, and his wife, Queen Aurnia, with his daughter, Sonal, and son, Nye, also living in seclusion in the snowy mountain regions across the cold, threatening waves of the sea between them and the rest of Seken. His forces use their breath and magical properties to attack, which make them one of the strongest demon nations alongside the talons of the raven clan. His right hand man of his army force is Glyndwr, a mixbreed black and white dragon, who commands the icy, holy and dark waters into his command.
The nation of the humans, Linnet, ruled by Ermete, the emporer of the nation itself. His ways are that of a wicked one, casting away the usual “no more war” with countless skrimishes and border battles. He seeks to dominate the entire continent; his ancestor before him awakened Alundon and recked much harvoc on all the other nations, which caused Svanhilde, the heron queen of past, to sing the galldrar of rebirth, the holy powers blessed by Atarina shielded her as she fought Alundon with her holy blade of Asakar, Autumn, and the king of Comos himself, also fought in this war, the elder of Kyuriko, Queen Zurine's ancestor, Aether, the Devil king of the Feline clan, and the late raven king Chogan himself, all assisted in this war against Alundon, as his awakening also caused Atarina's, and the forbidden tablet, in which Ermete's ancestor, Calder, disrupted.
Calder, ruler of Linnet in of the past, after the war ended, stole Svanhilde, condemning her into giving birth to the first four half breed herons, Aura, Anemone, Photine, and Inina; two male and two female. Svanhilde's elder sister, Sveta, had Calder hanged, ordering for a new rule for Linnet.
That year was of 408, called The Age of Light.
This new age, the year of 935, It is known as the Age of Slavery to the elder demons, as their young are siezed by human hands; to the demons, this new year, has no meaning.
Queen Zurine's daughter, Himouka, left and married a blind wolf of Kyuriko, Yuki. Together, they bore a son, who was blessed with the ability of the heron clan, but at the same time, cursed with the loss of eyesight at birth.
After the passing of Liron, Serenade became Queen of Asakar, having a fair rule and justice in her mind, the body and face of a pure angel. She married her childhood friend, Anakin, and he became her king. They had four beautiful children; Akihiko, the eldest son, Emi, the eldest daughter, Aderyn, another female, and Aneurin, the last son.
Phelan, the elder wolf of Kyuriko, continues to hold his position of his village, his great-great-grandsons, Riyo and Leander following behind him. He keeps the heron siblings of Svanhilde safe, as well as Sveta, hidden in his village, as a plea from Aether in the old times.
After a few years, the young heron prince Akihiko left his homeland forest of Asakar, to find new means of the heron clan to protect themselves from disasters, not always needing to rely on their fellow Hawks and ravens to aid them...
