How it all collides

Just when I think it's the end

Something with you starts up all over again

This is ridiculous

Please someone tell me what this is turning into

Let it be anything but a joke

I can't take this guessing

Or the question my heart keeps pestering

Time is ticking

But I can't seem to move

At times I know where I am

And others there's just no use

I want to know what we can be but I'm afraid to move

The word vulnerable

Why does it have to come in with love's packaging?

How it all collides

But when it lands everywhere on the floor like scattered pieces of paper

I'm lift standing there trying to figure out what to do first

Do leave the papers the way they've been?

Or do I pick them up?

And start a new beginning of something that could be perfect…You and I?
