Day Dreaming Of You

It was a great night, drinking in the moonlight
We painted this town every color we know
Took flight once or twice, the atmosphere was mighty nice
But morning came and you had to go

Now I, I'm feeling so alone again
In time, we'll be together, but until then

I pace the floor in crazy little circles
Say your name about a million times
Such a creep, I should be sleeping,
But I just can't shake this
Nothin' to do but spend the whole day dreamin' of you

Words escape us, we never really say much
I know everything can be seen in my smile
Dance in the moonlight, your dips and twirls are a delight
I wish that you could stay for awhile

Now I, I'm feeling so alone again
In time, we'll be together, but until then

I pace the floor in crazy little circles
Say your name about a million times
Such a creep, I should be sleeping,
But I just can't shake this
Nothin' to do but spend the whole day dreamin' of you

I saw you there inside a dream
Woke up and let tears wash it clean
Sometimes I wonder if you're real
'Cause I can't feel you, I can't feel you...

But in the meantime--

I pace the floor in crazy little circles
Say your name about a million times
Such a creep, I should be sleeping,
But I just can't shake this
Nothin' to do but spend the whole day dreamin' of you
