And something dark and wicked had begun;

Temptation festers where the lustful lay.

Devils dance in the humid island sun.

"You must come to my room tonight," he'd say;


All of the maids, they knew about it now.

They whispered in their native island tongue.

Someone had seen the sinful act, so foul,

"How terrible! And she's so very young!"


He slipped an eager hand beneath her dress,

The other hand he placed over her mouth.

She had laid down, her hair a rumpled mess,

He said "Be quiet; do not make a sound."


And Satan laughed to see him mounting her;

Brother, sister, both of them now lovers.
