A Sweet Embrace

A sharp pulsating pain followed by a peaceful warm sensation.

I feel the world collapse down, in one almighty go,

Although This time I am ready.

My ragged breath gets weaker
And weaker,
And weaker.

My mind drifts, my eyes flickering,
All strength is lost to a cruel but welcoming fate.
I edge closer to the light, my hand stretching out.
The warmth in my hands disappear
Only to be followed by a cold overpowering sensation.

Time seems to slow down, or is it my mind?

No matter,
It is only matter of seconds until I’m taken to god’s world.
I take a look at the brutal world, my eyes burning.
I close them.
I obtain one last breath before everything stops.
One last beat of my heart,

I rest.

I’m taken into a sweet embrace.
