Chapter Two

Kyle ran into the classroom only to find out that he was the first person there. He hated that. He was rushing to get to class on time, after running into the most beautiful girl in the world. He sat down at the desk in the front. He put his bag on the ground and pulled out his schedule. His schedule read:

Day One

Period 1: Health Education, Mr. Taylor

Period 2: Honors Algebra I, Mr. Medi

Period 3: Physical Education, Mr. Colon

Period 4: Computer Sciences, Ms. Sumptini

Day Two
Period 5: Honors Biology, Mr. Jackson

Period 6: Honors English 9, Mr. Hunchins

Period 7: Honors World History, Mrs. Alexander

Period 8: Writing Enrichment, Mr. Taylor

Looking at his schedule Kyle felt like an average student. Though he was one of the only nineth graders in the Biology class, he felt all alone. He had finished his foreign language classes during the summer, he was also one of the only students to ever do that. He felt like he had done it all when it came to grades. The one thing he hadn't done yet, was date a female.

"Hello," the teacher said looking at Kyle.

Kyle looked up and smiled a friendly smile. "Hi."

"What's your name?" The teacher sat in the chair next to him.

"I'm Kyle Sanders."

"It's nice to meet you Kyle. I'm Mr. Taylor. I'm new to this school. This is my first time ever teaching actually."

Kyle smiled. "Are you nervous?"

"Oh! Am I?!" Mr. Taylor stood up and walked to his desk and sat down. "I've been coming to this classroom for weeks now and thinking of things to teach."

Kyle put his legs under his desk. "Do you just teach health?"

"No. I teach writing enrichment as well. I would have taught reading enrichment, but that's not offered in this school. Kind of strange isn't it?"

"Yeah. Most of the people that go to this school had horrible writing scores. And usually when you can't write, you have a hard time reading too. But, I guess not." Kyle paused. "Hey! I take writing enrichment. I can write perfectly fine."

"Well, I guess it's just to improve writing skills."

The bell rang. Mr. Taylor and Kyle both watched as the classroom filled with 25 more students. All of which were loud and out of control. Kyle figured that they were all upperclassmen that just had to take the class over again. Kyle kept his eyes on his notebook in front of him, hoping to stay invisible.

At lunch he sat by himself. Well, he figured it was only until the rest of the students got into the cafeteria. Kyle could never figure out why he was always in such a rush to get everywhere.

'I need to learn to calm down and take life easy.' He thought to himself.

Once he grabbed his lunch and walked back to his table, he sat down and looked around at all of the faces. He noticed all of the females around him. They were pretty but they were nothing like the beautiful girl he saw this morning in the library. His fingers were still tingling from where they touched her soft flesh. He smiled.

"Mind if I sit here?"

Kyle looked up and met her eyes. Meagan was standing right in front of him. He couldn't come to speak.

"Hello?" Meagan placed her tray down and waved her hand in front of his face. "Kyle? Are you okay?"

Afraid that she would walk away and sit at another table, he snapped out of his trance and said, "Yeah. I'm fine. I just didn't think I would be seeing you this soon."

Meagan smiled. "Yeah. I didn't think so either."

Meagan sat down next to him. She had to admit that Kyle was pretty hot. She could tell that he was extremely nervous around her. Could he have a crush on her so soon?

"So, how has your day been so far?" She asked him.

Kyle rubbed his hands together, trying to get rid of the sweat that started to take form. He replied, "It's been okay. Not the best."

Meagan nodded. "Yeah. Mine hasn't been the greatest either."

Kyle looked at her. For some reason he couldn't stop staring at her. He thought she was beautiful and he doesn't say or think that about every girl he meets.

"So, how come your day is going well?" He asked trying to focus on his full plate of corndogs and French fries and not on her beautiful facial features.

She looked up and him. "Well, I ended up with my mom as my teacher."

"What does she teach?"

"History. I didn't have her yet though. I have tomorrow. Oh joy!" she said sarcastically.

Kyle smiled at her. "I have her too. Mrs. Alexander right?"

"Yeah. What period do you have her?"

"Period 7."

Meagan gasped with shock. "Really? I do too. That'll be the best class ever."

Kyle couldn't agree more.

A/N: Haha!! A very slow chapter. But, I will make you wait. I promise the chapters after this won't be so slow. I'm just getting the ball rolling and trying to overcome my writers block. So, keep reading. And if you haven't already, check out my other stories. They are really interesting and I know they might be a good read for all of you out there that are enjoying this story. Yeah man. Please review and let me know that you read them so I can return the favor. Thanks a million in advance. By the way, don't worry about why my notes are so long. I just like typing. It makes my fingers strong. I could type for hours and hours. I think I should. But anyways, I promise that the next chapter will be a lot better. And I also promise that I will update more of my stories as soon as I can. I'll be really busy next week with my college-level class so I might only have time for like half a chapter, but I will try to write for you guys everyday and every chance that I get. I promise. Now, please review. Thanks. Again.
