Shatter.
July 5th, 2008.

If you wanted to see a literal image
of my heart at this very moment,
it would be crushed up in my hands,
flowing through them like sand, dropping
into the ocean, disappearing.

Everyone told me it would end up like
this, but for you, I pushed them aside
and let you thrust me into this fantasy.

How beautiful it was too.

I think I’m scared of saying goodbye

Because next time we meet there
probably won’t be any hello’s.

I don’t miss you, I miss the guy
I thought you were.

It’s a little late for you to say
those things.

No matter what, I can never
take back my feelings.

So I'll sit here and take it all in.
Is there anything else you wanted
to tell me because my heart is all yours.
You've taken everything away from me,
so please,Go ahead; shatter it.

A/N: For some reason, whenever I'm thinkin of the guy I like while also kind of gloomy inspires me to write things like this. My favorite is the last stanza. Please Review and share your opinion!
