Gone Without A Song

-

I lost you, one morning

Now all the memories

I wear them on my sleeve

And without warning

You were all gone

Without a goodbye kiss or a song

-

I wandered through the forest

To catch a glimpse

At the world in its beauty

But when I went

All I thought about was you

-

I lost you, to another

Now all that’s left

Is your scent upon my breast

No artefact of love remains

You are gone without a trace
No song to mark your final embrace

-

I wandered through a field

To see the sun

Capture the skies beauty

But when I went there

All I thought about was you

-
