I cannot fathom your boundless love

Or grasp your perfectly intricate plan

But before you created the heavens and earth,

You chose Jesus to come and lay down his life.

Lord, You took on flesh

To show the world and me your love

History and endless space created

for the moments you let your love be known.

So as I sing to you my praise

I proclaim "Your love be known!"

I proclaim you came to save me

Cause you love me, and I love you.

Your mystery drives me deeper

In reverence; in awe of you.

None of us deserve your love

But still, you freely give.

We're bought with the very blood

Of the reason for stars, and history

All was planned to point to Jesus

You made it all to show your love!

2000 years with nothing to show

But a hurting bride who's forgotten to love

Reveal your love again!

Restore our sight, and let us love again!

Let your love overtake me

Wash me, cleanse me.

You are coming soon

For a pure and spotless bride

so

Restore your love in your Church

Restore what sin has destroyed

Take back all that's been stolen

Restore! Return us to our first love!

Shout for joy!

the very God who is love will teach us to love

How can we shy away from his teaching?

Listen keenly and follow exactly

To ignore would be a mistake

Take pleasure in the Love that he gives.

Bask in it, bathe in it.

The oceans envelop the earth

And still could not contain his love.

Let us help the seas

And hold his love in our hearts

Let it overflow and spill out

Let it be a constant outpouring from Christ!

You love us so much

Let us love you genuinely

Let your love take root

And grow strongly

Personal Prayer

Lord, I want to be able to love you

Like I love my girlfriend (more, of course)

To seek you in the morning

and at night.

To call, and talk

Pray and laugh.

To become intimate with you

Sharing secrets of our hearts

And our honest desires

Our dreams and hopes

Our best and worst.

The most beautiful and ugly things.

Give me a heart like you and for you.

Solomon asked for wisdom.

I ask for your heart of love.
