Suspended here with stars dying around me.

A million years away their light shimmers,

But here their lonely remnants are forgotten.

In this place where sound won’t travel,

I can’t hear you call out for me.

You’re a disaster in slow motion, in black and white,

With the rain still pouring in.

Fall asleep and dream of life on distant planets,

Then dream you came back to me.
