A/N: Not sure if this is any good, I just wanted to write something and this is what I came up with! Hmm kinda tells you what mood I'm in... scary :D. Some part of the song lyrics don't fit, but the chorus is perfect... I love this song! (sigh) I just had to use it! Also, this isn't really romance (well sort of) but there was no where else it really fit. Enjoy!! Plz R&R!

Dina walked quietly in the huge garden, lost deep in thought. She didn’t know what to do. She sat down on a bench, staring down at her reflection in the small pond. Sighing, she put her head in her hands.

I see a distant light, but girl this can't be right
Such a surreal place to see so how did this come to be
Arrived too early

If only someone would tell her what to do. This was no easy decision, but it had to be made. She just didn’t know what to do. Well, she did, but she didn’t want to. If only it were simple.

And when I think of all the places I just don't belong
I've come to grips with life and realize this is going too far

Tears flowed down her face. How would Nico react to what she had to say? She was being so unfair to him and all her other friends. But she had to. She didn’t belong anywhere, here especially.

“Dina? What’s wrong?” She heard Nico behind her, but didn’t look up, hoping he’d go away. Instead, he sat down beside her, a concerned look on his face. Dina shook her head, moving away from him. “Please tell me.”

Dina raised her eyes to his, a expression that told him she had lost hope.
”I’m leaving.” She muttered, watching his face change.

A place of hope and no pain, perfect skies with no rain
Can leave this place but refrain, ’cause we've been waiting for you
Fallen into this place, just giving you a small taste
Of your afterlife here so stay, you'll be back here soon anyway

Nico stared at her in shock.

“But… you can’t!” He exclaimed, looking desperate. Dina gave him a small smile.

“I don’t fit in here. I’m so sorry.”

“Dina… please stay!” Once again, she shook her head sadly.

This peace on earth's not right (with my back against the wall)
No pain or sign of time (I’m much too young to fall)
So out of place don't wanna stay, I feel wrong and that's my sign
I've made up my mind

“It doesn’t matter if you don’t belong, you have me! I’ll always be here for you! I love you.” He said, searching her eyes, hoping she’d change her mind. Dina began to cry harder.

“Please, Nico, just let me go.”

Gave me your hand but realize I just wanna say goodbye
Please understand I have to leave and carry on my own life

Nico stared at Dina in dismay. What she was saying couldn’t be true. There had to be something he could say… but he could see by her expression she knew there was no going back. He knew she was going to leave.

“You have to stay!” He said desperately, pleading.

“Nico… please, don’t do this. You’ll find someone better than me.”

“Don’t you dare say that!” Nico retorted, horrified.

“I have to go. I’m not happy here.”

“But… what about us?”

“I do love you, Nico. That’s why I’m leaving. You have to understand. I can’t expect you to leave your home for me, but I can’t stay here.”

Take me back inside when the time is right

“I’ll go with you!” Nico offered. Dina smiled sadly at him.

“You’re place is here, with your family. Mine is somewhere far away, and I will find it. We both need to be where we belong.”

Nico didn’t speak, just pulled her into a tight hug. Dina heard his breath catch as he buried his head in her hair.

“Will you ever come back?” He whispered, and she heard his voice break.

“Nico… I don’t know.” At that, Nico sobbed harder.

Suddenly he straightened and raised his head to meet my eyes.

“If you won’t come back, I will come looking for you. I will never stop until I find you. No matter how far you travel, I will come after you. I won’t let you go.” Dina was silent.

“I’d like that.” She eventually murmured, hugging him fiercely before getting up and walking out of the garden, leaving without looking back.
