Post Script

I have a collection of letters entitled The Letters You'll Never Read up here from a previous life. They were written when I was in love with a man. The last letter of that collection contains an authors note that reads:

"a/n: this happened a month ago. i sent him all the letters (plus more i didn't put up here). it all came back yesterday. he moved. the end."

Early last year I found him again. He read all the letters and we had another series of tumultuous encounters complicated by his drug problem and my partner. Last June he committed suicide after completing a rehab program I had persuaded him to enter.

In the past year I have again be writing letters to a man who will never read them.

These are not literary masterpieces. In fact they are the antithesis of what I like to write. I am posting them here because I need someone to read them and anonymously pouring my heart out here was the way I did it the first time.

I like to think that this is somewhat poetically fitting.
