Crystal pushed her stroller up the side walk, weeping gently as she moved. Emma lied silently in the carriage listening to the sounds of children laughing and singing coming from a beautiful shell hidden beneath a blanket at her feet. Crystal heard them to now. The sounds soothed her, for she greatly feared the day that the shell will again fall silent. They approached the steps of the steepled white chapel. She followed a row of half burned candles in lamps perched on the filled pews all the way up the aisle to the altar. She did not wish for preaching. She did not ask for silence before her husbands empty casket either. She began to sing for an audience, she sang a eulogy to her beloved in a haunting melody that would have seemed familiar to her husband. Tears streamed down her face as she sang.

Though our love may grow,

you may never know,

the story of your life,

the story of your wife.

Through the wind and rain,

I guide you by the hand,

to the final train.

Ill never love again.

I pray that in this song,

that I may right a wrong.

But even love can not cease,

this song of the deceased.
