Gone is another

Endless phone calls

Dozens of notes passes

Whispered secrets

And dreams of what's to come.

Slowly,

You realise your priorities

Who am I now?

A stranger, long forgotten.

Hold onto the memories

It's hard to move on.

Lies will get you nowhere now

I know the truth.

Years have passed

And it's all forgotten

Except to you and I.

We were both at fault here

We're all to blame

Gone is another

Yet, I'm not ashamed.

A/N: Speaking from personal experience, it's hard to lose a friend but I'm sure a lot of people can relate to it. Reviews and constructive criticism is much appreciated.
