My Inspiration

You are the muse

That lights up my fire

Of creative imagination

By you I’m inspired

Scribbling words furiously

Don’t need to think at all

Feeling hypnotized and happy

The words come with no call

Thoughts of you will help me

When I’m in a block

If I can’t find my way

Or a door I can’t unlock

When I’m tired and feeling hopeless

When I haven’t got a clue

You stand by me always

And tell me what to do

I’m happy being with you

You make me feel so sure

You are my inspiration

So though anything I’ll endure.
