Again, yet another poem written for Teacher-From-Hell. This one was an assignment on greek Mythology and learning teh elements of poetry. We had to write the introduction to an epic...I think. Anyways, I acctually like the story this one could turn into, so maybe someday if i'm bored...well, who knows.

Invocation to the Muse

Have you heard the tale? That

of the young woman with eyes dark as

mud? Who sought, as man has sought since the

start of time, for purpose. Have

you heard tell of Aphrodite, beautiful

lady of love, who took pity on her daughter with

chocolate eyes.

O’ Muse, inspire in me the story,

that I may tell pass, of the beauty of the

goddess’s smile as she turned that smile to

her daughter below. And

how, with the brilliance of a smile,

beautiful foam risen Aphrodite sent to her

daughter an angel. An angel with brown

hair and eyes of the brightest blue.

Allow me, Lady Erato, muse of love, to tell the story

of young Abilie, and her angel love, the

blue eyed Christopher.
