If you sucked the blood from my veins?
Would I cry every night
If you removed my heart, made it right?
Would I crumble to the ground
If you, my darling, were not around?
Would I stand upon the edge
If you had never broken your pledge?
Would I tear my life apart
If you'd never touched this foolish heart?
Would I be alive and well
If from the sky you had not fell?
