My tears are made of glass.

They fall across my face

As their sharpness breaks my skin.

The blood dries; cuts become scars.

--

I cannot watch me suffer

My reflection too hollow; it bears no resemblance

To the one I once knew.

What happened to my happiness?

What happened to my hope?

What happened?

My eyes are like bullets now

Piercing through…

--

My words are like a table

With no legs to stand on.

My dreams are impossible

And reach towards infinity.

--

I cannot watch me drown

There is too much wish

And too much breath.

I cannot watch me fall

Or witness my pain

Or witness my death.

I must not think tonight…

I must not think tonight.
