(English translation of a text I first wrote on my blog in french. There may be mistakes)

Weakness doesn’t make you feminine, admirable or virtuous, it just makes you weak.

Ignorance doesn’t make you attractive or feminine, it just makes you dumb.

Nothing is more feminine than child bearing and childbirth. Nothing demands more strength either.

Adversity and suffering are the essence of life for both men and women. We should face it like a bull in the arena, not like a lamb fears the slaughterhouse.

No damsel in distress needs to be saved by anyone. Abuse victims and victims of all sorts all have the key to their dungeon. All they have to do is find it and all we have to do is to help them to.

The difficulty or danger that doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger.

It is just as bad to be asexual than to be a sex slave.

Fear never saved anyone. Wisdom and action did.

When something is wrong, don’t just sit there, cry and look miserable; do something about it.

The best and boldest feminist statement a woman can make is to believe in herself.
