Zeus' Menagerie

My Electro-static infatuation,
Your eyes glow pale green -
So soft, so sure!

It's an emerald haze.

I'm Caught in this
hedgemaze
with your malachite fog.

Your fingertips
shock me.
Awakening

My defibrilized lust.

And your footsteps
glow deep xenon
so I trail

gazing to the tile,

mouth hung vertical
and eyes dazzled,
scuffling,
shuffling.

You wear shards of glass
and your hands
are thorned sumac.

I itch,
but my wrists are tied.
I scratch against the wall
but your being has deeply infected me.

So uncomfortable,
I shift and I turn...Oh
how I have fallen

under your hallucinogen.

I imagine your lips outstretched,
my arms held wide.
there is no hope now

For recovery.
