In the Red Shadow

Place the sharpness to your wrist,

Feel alive as you clench your fist,

Red river runs after a few tries,

The tears are forming in your eyes,

But it is your soul that cries,

Crying helps to let the sad out,

Makes it easier to accept your doubt,

It makes you hurt and makes you bleed,

It gives you what you think you need,

Healthy plant grown from rotted seed,

I know why you want to be let down,

I see the smile in the frown,

Hide from the world but not from me,

What is in the shadows I can see,

When you need a light here I’ll be.
