Rules and Regulations

1. First and foremost, if you are a vampyre, it is forbidden to be in love with a mortal; if you are a mortal, it is forbidden to be in love with a vampyre.

2. Mystical creatures and beings are more than welcome in this story.

3. Two races (Vampyres and Mortals) who live in the land of Nod and are at war. If you leave the land of Nod, you are to never return, and you will forever be hunted by the ANBU(mortal)/UBNA(vampyre) until found and killed. (ANBU/UBNA: guardians and gatekeepers of Nod).

4. There are 12 mortal tribes ruled by twelve head families under one royal family.

5. There are 10 vampyre covens ruled by one governor/governess who all answer to one royal family.

6. Vampyres are not harmed by sunlight, garlic, or wooden stakes, but are harmed by crosses, silver, and holy water and spells.

7. Vampyres can reproduce but at a much, much slower rate than mortals. They do grow at a mortal rate from birth to their 13th year, but then their aging process slows down drastically. They are immortal and stop aging altogether when they are the equivalent appearance of a 35 yr. old mortal.

8. Mortals can be turned into vampires, but it is forbidden and has never been done before.

9. This takes place before Moses’ era.

10. You must understand and accept the following rules before allowed passage into the land of Nod.

Author’s Notes:

Hey guys! This is the long awaited story I’ve been promising for two years now!! This doesn’t mean I’m finished though….I just thought I would post this as a teaser or an introduction to this story to buy me some time to get a little further on it….

Now here’s the plan: I’m gonna try and work on Twilight of Escaflowne in the mean time, but this is going to be my main focus: finishing this (at least the first book anyway…).

But I’m looking at posting a chapter to this every week or so….I currently have 8 chapters written out and ready to be typed and posted…so we’ll see how it goes. For now I leave you this introduction to my prize story until I post the first chapter…I don’t know when that’s going to be but I can assure you it’ll definitely be before school starts which is the middle of August for me.
