Why Change – ForkInYourEye

When sitting there at the corner of the fun,

She sat quietly till the day is had gone cold.

Not worrying about the matters around her,

Life was fine.

--

As a little shrub in the never ending desert,

Alone, small and useless.

Even with the help of vast amounts of water,

She still found herself unable to paint a pretty picture.

--

She found herself a new alternative,

And had changed herself into another 'me'.

Prefect and whole she has became to others.

However, selfish and fake she was to her soul.

--

She had denied her self existence,

Pushing it to the dark side of her head.

Ignoring her pleas of release,

Slowing, she was gone.

--

She now regrets her actions,

Started to question on that very move.

‘Because I wanted to be noticed’ was the answer,

Those words hang on the noose.

--

A walking piece of stupidity,

How could she have done such a thing!

To hang out with people who wouldn’t care,

Was that what she really wanted?

--

Now she had wiped her ghost totally,

Or is it true?

She cried at the thought of it,

“Why did I get rid of you?”

--

Now there is no turning back,

There are too much leap holes.

However there was just one thing to do,

That is ‘ To start anew.’

--

If you want me to change my face,

I don’t mind, no really.

However, if you want me to change who I really am,

I would rather change sides. Goodbye.
