Well, a couple of songs mixed together in my head and I got this. The title is basically the gist of it....

A/N: This poem isn't based on any event in particular. I was listening to some music and I had the idea for the poem and then that song mixed with an entirely different song... Anyways, this is the poem that came out of Who Knew by Pink and You Oughta Know by Alanis Morissette. It's a little more melancholy then Who Knew, and nowhere near as angry as You Oughta Know, but whatever, the lyrics sort of relate. Ha ha sorry for rambling, enjoy the poem, and please review!
You Lied
Just feeling this
It's just so tough
It's like I'll never
Get enough
Back and forth
And side to side
I danced with you
Every night
-
You told me
You'd hold me
Until the day that I died
But now I see
You lied
-
Don't leave me
Never
Because you said
Forever
But you left me
You're long gone
Before I could think
"What went wrong?"
-
You told me
You'd hold me
Until the day that I died
But now I see
You lied
-
This is the end
Don't let me cry
I never got to say
Good-bye
I just wish
You hung around
I can't believe
You let me down
-
You told me
You'd hold me
Until the day that I died
But now I see
You lied
