Gardening

Dawning
Greetings from those that are calling
Wake up innocent one
The new, the clean, the perfect
Has been encompassed
In the small white daisy
Placed in your tiny hands

Morning
Embraces from those that are caring
Bud into the growing mystery
Grinning faces growing
Their loving kisses linger
Like the delicate violets
Caught in your hair

Midmorning
Smiles from those that are feeling
Confidence you're radiating
Found from trial and error
Take the time to boast
About the blue hydrangeas
Budding from your fingers

Noon
Compliments from those that are watching
Understanding the complicated
Is a magnificent feat
Rest a while
Enjoy the green clemantis
Growing under your eyes

Afternoon
Advice from those that are wise
Shining sun brightens moods
Energy building
New life is here at last
As the yellow sunflowers are
Reaching up to your ears

Evening
Courage from those that are believing
There is still time to come
Although the day is closing
Keeping their bloom
The orange marigolds
Stand by your feet

Twilight
Sighs from those that are weary
Moments are coming to a close
Love from family
Wrapping around
While the red roses
Close by your resting cheeks

Night
Grieving from those that loved
The day is done
And rest has fallen
The colors come together
To form teh midnight black
That blankets your final garden
