To Coin A Phrase
-
To coin a phrase
To catch a drift
“If a million people say
A foolish thing
It is still a foolish thing”
“Commit the oldest sins
In the newest of ways”
If I plagiarise
It’s because I admire them
Who wrote with pen
On paper
If I coin a phrase
Have I stolen from them?
Have I cheated them?
Is it so wrong to do?
Everything that is worth saying
Has been said before.
So shall we cease to speak?
