To catch a drift

If I plagiarise

It’s because I admire them

Who wrote with pen

On paper

If I coin a phrase

Have I stolen from them?

Have I cheated them?

Is it so wrong to do?

Everything that is worth saying

Has been said before.

So shall we cease to speak?
