I'M SO SORRY!!! I mean't to update this a long time ago, but I never did.
PookieMoon-
Miraculous Science
Thanks for reviewing!
- Wow, I only read the first sentence, and I thought ‘flame.’ Turns out it wasn’t. Either way, thanks. You pretty much motivated me to finish this chapter up. Thanks! For some reason it won't save your name when I uploaded this chapter, so I had to take the period out. It made me mad. Oh well. Thanks for thinking so, and I’m sorry I didn’t update sooner.“I’M FREE!” Jesse yelled out to the ceiling, before Jessica clamped a hand over his mouth.
“Do you have to always have to scream- EW!” She yelled out herself when Jesse licked her hand, which she quickly removed.
“Yes. Yes I do. Because I am free, and that’s what I do. Besides, you weren’t the one caged up the whole time.” Jesse grinned, sitting down and leaning back on his sister’s bed.
“You weren’t caged up. Besides, mom let you out of your room.”
“Yeah, but not out of the house. That’s good enough to be called caged up to me.”
“And only you,” Jessica muttered under her breath, before pushing her twin off her bed, who let out a yelp when he hit the floor. “Besides, it was your fault.”
“Nuh uh.” Jesse said childishly, “It was Shawn’s!”
“Shane.” She corrected.
“Whatever, doesn‘t matter,” he waved it off, and stood up.
“Hurry up and get ready for school.” Jessica told him, and began to push him towards his side of the room. “Mom will be mad if she finds out you aren’t by now. A little advice, that’s not the best especially since you just got ungrounded.” It was Wednesday, which meant the last day of his suspension. Not that he was happy about it. The least the principal could’ve done was give him the whole week off. This was what punishment was.
“Fine, fine.” He began to take off his pajamas, and Jess screeched.
“Wait until I’m out of the room!” His twin said, her hands covering her eyes, and walked blindly to the bedroom door, trying to get out the room as quick as possible without tripping over everything that had been strewn about since Jesse had come to live there.
“Sorry!” He called out when she slammed the door closed.
The first half of school went by without a hitch. Then it was lunch time.
Jessica waved her twin over when she saw him enter the cafeteria after using the bathroom.
The table she was sitting at had a few other girls, including Carry, and two boys. One that had already introduced himself as Jake the first day Jesse had gone to school. The other one he wasn’t familiar with.
Jesse got a tray of unappetizing food and sat down between his sister and Carry. Jake sat on the other side of Jessica, and the new boy across of Jesse.
Jesse began to eat, though he didn’t think there weren’t enough sweets to be any good.
After a while, Jesse remembered the new boy, and turned to his sister.
“Who’s he?” Jesse pointed, noticing the boy looking embarrassed. Jess elbowed him in the side, before replying.
“Why don’t you ask him yourself.” She said, then went back to talking to Jake. Jesse turned to the new boy.
“What’s your name?” He asked, and the boy stared at him, before answering.
“Raiden.” He finally said, going back to whatever he was eating. Jesse noticed that he’d brought a bag lunch, and was now taking things out of it, ducking his head because he knew that Jesse was watching him, and it made him nervous.
Jesse eventually started looking at the food that Raiden had, and saw that it was mostly health crap. But then, he saw something, and pointed to it.
“Can I have your ding dong?” His sister choked on the milk she was drinking, and turned around to yell at him when she saw what he was pointing at. Then she elbowed him in the ribs again.
“What…?” Jesse whined, not paying attention to the odd looks he was getting from around the table, and kept staring at the little package.
“Take it.” Raiden gave him permission, and Jesse thanked him profusely. Finally, some chocolate!
“That sounded wrong, you do know that, right?” Jessica said, and Jesse turned to her with a quizzical look on his face, unable to answer with the Ding Dong he’d just stuffed into his mouth. “Never mind.
Jesse shrugged, and went back to eating.
Soon, the bell rang, and everyone got up to go to class.
The last hour of the day, the class Jesse didn’t have with his sister, he found out that he had it with Raiden. He made sure to get a seat beside him, and before class started, began to talk to him.
“Let me see your schedule.” Jesse demanded, wanting to make sure that this was the only class they had together. Not that he didn’t want to have more classes with Raiden, he would’ve just felt bad if they had had classes together, and Jesse hadn’t noticed him. He would’ve felt guilty.
Turns out they didn’t. Jesse did find out something interesting though.
“Raiden Ray Calms. Well, now that I’ve decided a good nickname for you…” Jesse grinned, and Raiden looked at him with a confused expression.
“Why do I need a nickname?” he asked, but Jesse shrugged.
“Don’t know, just wanted to give you one. It’s Ray Ray, by the way. Maybe just Ray.”
“Ray Ray?” Raiden shook his head and frowned.
“Yep, and your not allowed to change it from now on.” Jesse’s grin only got bigger.
“Don’t I get a say in this?” Jesse cocked his head, appearing to think it over.
“Nope.”
“What makes you think I want a nickname?”
“Whether you want one or not, you’ve got one.”
“What if I don’t answer to it?”
“Why wouldn’t you?”
“Maybe cause I don’t like it? Besides, we are in high school, and it sounds childish.”
“You don’t like my nickname for you?” Jesse looked hurt, but Raiden rolled his eyes, not falling for it for a second.
“No, not really.”
“Too bad.” Jesse grinned again.
“Your not serious, are you?” Raiden asked.
“Very, Ray Ray.”
“Don’t call me Ray Ray.” Jesse sighed.
“Fine then, Ray.” Raiden sighed this time, and decided it wasn‘t worth it. He couldn’t argue it any more either way, since the bell rang, and class started.
I’m thinking about making it 1st POV, in Jesse’s view or something. Leave a review, or something.
And sorry for this chapter being so short, or something.
Also, this is probably going to be the last time I update this for a while, unless you'd like otherwise. I'm doing a thing where I’m working completely on one story at a time, so I can be completely finished and get on with another. Right now, I'm working on This is My Story, since it was the first one i came out.
The point is, I have a poll going, and feel free to vote if you want this story to be the next one finished. It will end by the end of February.
