Rhyme and Religion

You see it as a literal interpretation,

But forget the metaphorical amalgamation,

When you don’t question with imagination,

You are your own greatest limitation,

The problem with this situation,

If you don’t ask it could be manipulation,

You sometimes must search for verification,

Unlike the other sheep of this nation,

Take time for contemplation,

And if after much deliberation,

Your faith is given justification,

When it is of your own creation,

I will always respect your destination,

But if faith and reason lack correlation,

Then it’s time for blind minds to find stimulation.
