The Shadow

It’s the side of me you cannot find,

A secret evil inside my mind,

It’s what causes all my pain,

It speaks of failure not of gain,

It is my loses from the past,

Regret perhaps not meant to last,

The shadow of who I want to be,

This darkness lurks inside of me.
