Loving Me

Separated from my family,
Having no where to go
I know my loving parents
Will wait till I come home.

My father protected me,
I was his child.
My mother cherished me,
So much that no one could imagine.

Starting out on my own,
My family supporting all the way
I know I'll get through
Whatever comes in front of me.

All that they've given me,
I had taken for granted.
I wish I hadn't,
But now it's too late.

Heading off on my own
I will always remember
That there is a place I belong
With my loving family.
