Woo! Finally wrote something again!

It's been a while since I did some nice poetry; thankfully, all the rain lately has helped boost me a little bit. Yes, rain is a re-occuring theme I use, but I love it! What else can I say?

Rain Dance

Splish, splash,

Splish, splash,

The sound my feet make

in the rain

Pitter, patter,

Pitter, patter,

Out to dance

and live again

Drumming out a

special tune

Every time it’s

something new

But still familiar

to my heart

Never stopping

once I start

Twirling, swirling,

this way and that

Never caring

where I’m at

The rain, it calls me;

I must answer

The best reply is

to become a dancer

The rain, it soaks me

to the bone

I don’t mind,

it helps me flow

Puddles await my feet

to splash

Longer runs call

me to dash

Through and through,

I love it all!

The rain comes down

and it enthralls

As it slows

and I must go,

I look up and

then I know

The rain will always

come again

The joy that once was

will live again.
