Pretty Bracelet

This is what comes of a horridly dull Sunday at work.

My bracelet holds the soul of a demon.
When you put it on, that's when you see him.
His ancient name is difficult to say
it means 'He who'll darken your day.'
He's like a genie but not so nice,
his wishes will always come at a price.
It is the most expensive jewellry I'll ever own,
it nearly cost me friends, a job, my home.
So eventually I decided to trade it in,
switching it for an enchanted ring.
