Um hi guys, I‘m sorry that I didn’t get the other four chapters uploaded, when I was about to upload this chapter, something happened and it caused me to loose all my ‘Star Galaxy‘ files and so much happened in the past two months that I didn‘t have time to re-type for a long while, please forgive me. On the upside I did get more reviews and I thank everyone who did and I thank non-reviewers to. Anyways this features some important stuff and a fight between Noriko and the Crimson Knight so lets get this show on the road!
Chapter Three: Silver vs. Crimson
“Not in my own galaxy,” said Minako in surprise as Shizuka nodded, “then where the heck am I!?”
“Man for an earthling your loud,” said Taka with his ears covered as Minako gave him a mean look, “well if you must know your in the Star Galaxy, a galaxy ruled by the power of the twelve constellations.”
“The constellations,” said Minako, “you mean like Aries, Libra, Gemini, and all of those.”
“Yes we are ruled by they are divine power,” said Shizuka, “without they’re power our galaxy would completely fall apart and become nothingness.”
‘This land is ruled by the constellation Cancer and with it‘s power we have created a hi-tech and magical society,” said Taka as he sighed, “however though we still have the constellations power the galaxy is basically dead anyways.”
“What do you mean,” asked Minako “everything looks fine to me what‘s wrong with it?.”
Shizuka looked down with a sad look “Well we did have a ruler who’s power was even greater than that of the constellations,” said Shizuka sadly and softly, “however when the tyrant Lord Kumo attacked us the queen was killed though she won the final battle and the king and two princesses disappeared.”
“I’m so sorry Shizuka-san,” said Minako softly, “but maybe your king and the princesses are alive and will come back someday.”
“Possibly but it’s been fifteen years and there’s been no sign of the daughters of Queen Miyako,” said Taka which caused Minako to get a surprised look, “hey don’t be surprised I mean at this point it was expected that they’d never return.” however that wasn't the reason Minako was suprised.
Curiosity was burning inside Minako, her mom’s name was Miyako but her dad told her that her mom died giving birth and it was hard to believe her mom was from another galaxy. Also Junko probably didn’t know if it was true because she was only a baby when their mom died. But what if it was true? What if this Queen Miyako that Taka was talking about was really her mother?
No way it’s not possible, my mom couldn’t have been a queen in another galaxy since I’m from Earth, thought Minako, but there’s no doubt in my mind that I’m not in another galaxy after all I felt pain when I crashed into that bush and you can’t feel pain in a dream but right now the only thing I want to know is how do I get back home?
(At the Hoshi residence)
Junko looked through her dad’s closet, trying to find out about the monster she saw. I know I could get grounded for life for doing this, thought Junko, but dad’s keeping something hidden from me and I’m going to find out what. She didn’t understand anything, it was obvious to her that her father knew about the monster and what happened to Minako but for some reason he was keeping it a secret. Why though? What was Jun not telling her?
“HOSHI JUNKO WHAT ARE YOU DOING,” the girl heard and nervously turned to see her father standing behind her, “you know better than to be in here without permission so tell me why you digging through my closet.”
“Looking for answers since you can’t give them to me,” said Junko coldly as she closed the closet, “Dad please tell me what your hiding from Minako and me because if you don’t than who knows what will happen to her!” Jun looked to the ground, his light green hair overshadowing his eyes as he thought before looking up at his daughter with a stern and serious look.
“Listen to me right now Hoshi Junko what happened in the attic and to Minako is none of your business and it doesn’t concern you,” he said which caused Junko to bald her hand in a fist, ‘the only person this concerns is Minako so for your own good stay out of-” before he could finish his sentence he received a hard punch in the jaw and saw Junko with anger in her eyes.
“None of my business huh? So what your saying is that my little sister’s in danger and I shouldn’t care?,” the asked angrily, “well let me tell you something dad my sister is my family so if anything happens to her it becomes MY business so if your not gonna tell me what your hiding than fine, I’ll look for Minako myself, I won’t lose her like I did mom.” Junko walked out the door as Jun stared at her and looked at a portrait of his wife.
“Please forgive me Miyako I should have known that the seal would weaken by now after all it was only temporary,” Jun said to himself, “but I didn’t imagine that they’d find Minako so fast and if she’s in the Star Galaxy than it’s only a matter of time before their powers are unlocked and then what we feared will become a reality, please forgive me Miyako!”
Outside the door, Junko was listening to her father and now she was more confused than ever.
(On the streets)
“Ah this is hopeless,” complained Noriko as she ran through streets, “I’ve beat up every cook, robber, and bad guy I can find and I’m not getting any answers to where Mina-chan is.” she was about ready to call it quits but if she quit then she’d be giving up on finding Minako, her best friend and she couldn’t let that happen.
As she thought about what to do, Noriko suddenly heard a scream from a nearby alley and thinking someone may need help, ran to the alley. Once arriving, she saw a man knocked out and a blue-haired woman in a crimson outfit. Noticing that Noriko had shown up, the woman turned to her. “Looks like the mask look is becoming a trend,” she said coolly, “and who may I ask are you.”
“My name is Nor-” began Noriko but stopped before revealing her name, “I mean I’m the Silver Samurai and I’m on some personal business”
“Really and I thought I was the only one,” said the woman as she walked towards Noriko, “My real name is of no importance but you may call me the Crimson Knight.” upon hearing the woman’s identity, Noriko’s eyes widened, no one had ever seen the Crimson Knight in person before so this was a surprise.
“Your the Crimson Knight,” said Noriko, “you look more like a ninja which means your nothing but a dishonorable disgrace.” this was a mistake as the Crimson Knight growled in anger, charged at Noriko, and punched her hard in the face and kickedher in the side, knocking Noriko down.
“Listen here samurai,” said the Crimson Knight in anger, “call me a disgrace if you want but anyone who insults my honor will feel my wrath.” the red-clad woman pulled out a pair of black-red twin katana’s while Noriko stood up and pulled out her own katana.
This woman, she seems so familiar but I don’t know much about her except that she’s a pyrokinetic thief, thought Noriko, but she’s also a ninja who is a samurai’s mortal enemy and being one is a dishonor so there’s no way I’ll lose to someone like her.
I better finish this fast or I’m going to run out of time, thought the Crimson Knight, but if she thinks I’ll let her get away with insulting my honor than she’s dead wrong.
In a heartbeat, the two women began to swordfight. Noriko and the Crimson Knight kept blocking until Noriko managed to cut the thief’s wrist which caused her to drop one of her swords and Noriko kneed her in the stomach and kicked her into a wall. The knight quickly got up as Noriko swung at her again and the Crimson Knight jumped up, pulled out a few shuriken, and threw them at the samurai.
Noriko knocked most of the throwing stars away though her shoulder got cut twice and once the knight landed, charged at her. Crimson Knight picked back up her dropped sword and managed to block the attack. It was obvious both girls were evenly matched and after blocking blow after blow they both stopped, trying to catch they’re breath.
“I’ll admit you have a lot of fight in you,” said Noriko as she raised her katana, “but there’s no way I’m going to lose to a disgrace like you.” and then she charged again.
She’s a lot tougher than she looks I don’t think I can beat her the way I’m trying now, thought the Crimson Knight as she continued blocking, I guess it’s time to get serious and show her my true strength.
The knight kept blocking until pushing Noriko back with her swords and jumped back a short but safe distance “Samurai I’ll admit your a strong opponent and I respect you strength,” said the knight, “so now I shall get serious.” suddenly in the blink of an eye, the knight’s two swords had fire appear around them.
“Fire,” said Noriko in surprise, “but how could you do that?”
“You’ve heard the rumors that I’m pyrokinetic right?” asked the knight as Noriko nodded, “well guess what? They’re true and now I’m afraid it’s the end for you.”
“Well see about that ninja,” said Noriko as she and the knight charged at each other and both cut each other deeply in the chest but Noriko felt a burn as blood escaped onto her shirt and grasped her chest, “ah that fire is real.”
“Well duh why wouldn’t it be?” asked the knight jokingly, blood also coming out though since she was wearing crimson the blood was un-noticeable and charged at the samurai. She kicked Noriko’s sword away and punched her in face, knocking Noriko down. The knight was about to finish it off but Noriko kicked her legs which caused the knight to loose her balance and fall down.
Both girls quickly got up but Noriko couldn’t find her katana so she was fighting weaponless. She tried to land a blow on the knight but her opponent blocked with her katana’s and gave the samurai a few minor burns. Damn it she’s blocking every attack I make, thought Noriko, I have to get those katana away from her.
In the blink of an eye, Noriko charged at the Crimson Knight and ducked the fiery katana’s. She kicked the knight’s face which caused the thief to cover her face for a brief second and once she uncovered it, Noriko was gone.
“Where’d she go,” the knight asked herself but got her answer when the samurai surprise attacked her from behind by kicking her back and knocked away the katana’s while she was distracted, “ah damn it!”
“Looks like you loose ninja,” said Noriko, “your now unarmed like me but there is no way I will lose to a ninja.”
“I’m afraid your wrong samurai,’ said the knight, “I may not have my katana’s now but I still have one advantage over you.” and then fire appeared in her hands, reminding Noriko she was pyrokinetic and sent two fireballs towards the samurai. Noriko dodged by luck but the knight didn’t stop and punched and kicked Noriko, using fire to increase the force of her attack.
Her fighting moves they seem so familiar but why, thought Noriko as she covered her fresh burn, wait a minute now I remember-could she be…
The fight seemed to last for hours though both girls knew it was only a few minutes and by then they both had injuries and were out of breath. The Crimson Knight had some scratches and bruises as well as a deep cut across her chest while Noriko hade minor scratches, burns, and a few deep cuts in her chest.
“Ninja I’ll admit that you’re a formidable opponent,” said Noriko, “but I refuse to lose to you.”
“And the same to you samurai,” said the knight, “so lets finish this.” and in the blink of an eye the two charged at each other and with the little strength they had left, punched each other hard in the face. It was hard enough to cause them to cough up some blood before crashing onto the ground hard. They tried to get up but had barley any strength left and fell to the ground.
After a few minutes, the knight felt her strength returning and slowly stood up and walked over to Noriko, seeing the samurai passed out. She got on her knees and reached for Noriko’s mask, something was bugging her about the samurai and she wanted to know why. However she paused when about an inch away and drew her hand back, she couldn’t do it.
“Even though you insulted me unmasking you would be dishonorable and even ninjas have honor,” the knight told herself as she walked over to her katana’s, “besides this was just a fight we had because we ran into each other so it wasn’t a true fight so if and when we meet again then we shall battle and only one shall emerge victorious.” and with those words, the knight put her katana’s back in they’re scabbards and disappeared in the blink of an eye.
