A/N: This poem is another one that I wrote when I was bored one day and wanted to write something sad. Just so you'll know the first line is the husband talking, second line is Ariel the wife talking...for all of you who read Cat and Mouse, the Ariel in this poem has nothing to do with the one in the story...though I did get her name from this poem. There are some lines that may seem incoherent, but its really just Ariel talking to herself, or thinking to herself…I'm in the midst of editing this poem to make it flow better and sound better so please be patient with me...I wrote this when I was young and not as good at writing as I am now. Oh...and just to clear up any confusion before it come's...the girl is pregnant.

Tears of hurt and pain caressed her cheeks as she stared at his trembling form,

Her mind raced and rage grew, he didn't know he was in the eye of a storm,

"Baby I'm sorry, please don't cry."

She shook her head. "The devil and his lies..."

"Don't be that way. What I'm saying is true."

"My whole damn life was about you."

"You love me. Without me what would you do?"

"All of my tears are a reflection of you."

He glanced at her hand, then back at her face,

He breathed heavily, his heart quickened it's pace,

She raised her hand and he grew frantic,

She couldn't figure out how she found him so charming, so romantic,

"Ariel put that down. Let's be mature."

"You couldn't see that my feelings were pure."

"Don't do this. I thought you loved me."

"What did I do wrong? I thought you were happy!"

"Calm down. Remember the baby."

"You made me this way. Your the reason why Im so angry!"

He could see the frustration in her eyes, feel the tension in the air,

She laughed. "...and you don't even care."

"Why are you acting like this, I don’t love her”

“You cheated on me with my sister!”

"Don't give us up because you're a little mad."

"Because of you I gave up everything I had!"

"Calm down. You'll wake the neighbors if you shout."

"Screw them. I was disowned. Put out!"

"Yea, and I've tried to make up for that,"

"All you did was make things worse." she spat,

"Look at what I've given you."

"Grief, depression, pregnancy. I was so blind, I didnt have a clue,"

"I could have sworn that we were blessed,"

"I have been given nothing but stress,"

"It hasn't been as bad as you make it to be,"

She shook her head and threw a vase. "You don't understand. You still don't see."

"What the hell Ariel! What's wrong with you?"

"Did you really think I'd keep excusing what you do."

"You should. It would make things a..."

"Shut Up! I don't want to hear anything you have to say."

He silenced himself, in turn silencing the room,

The way this was going, he was guaranteed to face his doom,

They stared at each other, listening to the rain,

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cause you pain,"

She cried hysterically. "You don't understand."

"You weren't supposed to find out. This wasn't planned."

She raised the gun, his eyes widened. "Are you insane?"

"I just don't want to go through this again.

"Please Ariel, I love you."

"Unfortunately I love you too."

"Please Ariel...don't do this."

"You honestly don't deserve to exist."

He dropped to his knees and began to cry,

She turned her head and whispered a goodbye,

A gunshot sounded as the bullet went through his head,

Shaking, she put the gun in her mouth, pulled the trigger, and landed on the bed.
