: i, double i, triple i, and four :

i.

i'm thinking about changing my name
because i feel you somewhere in it
somewhere between the 'b' and the 'y'

i'm thinking about forgetting this skin
because all i remember now is when your
fingers lingered; your fingers so thin

you have piano hands darling
they were meant to play
they were meant to touch
(me)

someone said "be"
and i replied "why"
and then i found you
and then i understood

yea darlin' i found you
and then i knew

ii.

i won't be the same
although i may try
my tongue caught your name
my smile caught your eye
and i shove love deep
into a rhyme

but we both know better than that

iii.

your slender hands took great care
taught me how to be beautiful
it wasn't hard
you just gotta be loved

iv.

it's late
i know
i dont make sense

but somehow writing this
silly
poetry
(that's blasphemy)

helps me recover
that piece of my mind
that i left inside
that piece of my heart
that i left inside
yours
